PRESS RELEASE- FUSION 213 FIRST ORDER

MultiFly Kft. Has solemnly signed the first order for the Hungarian Fusion 213 training aircraft manufactured by Magnus Aircraft Zrt. in Pécs. This marked the beginning of a new phase in the development of pilot training in the region and in Hungary as well.

Attila Magos, head of the Air Transport Research Center of the Institute of Transport Science, also took part in the solemn signing of the order establishing the long-term cooperation.

With this order, Magnus Aircraft Zrt's Fusion 213 aircraft will become part of MultiFly Ltd. and the University of Pécs (PTE) in English jointly licensed pilot training in 2019. In addition, the cooperation between Magnus Aircraft Zrt. And Multifly Kft. provides a simulation environment for pilot candidates studying at the University of Pécs to receive world-class or commercial pilot training. It will also facilitate the launching of medical research on flight crew and passengers, as well as further research and development projects.

Within the scope of the cooperation, Magnus Aircraft Zrt. aims to carry out research, development and innovation activities in a joint project with PTE, the main elements of which are to increase the range of alternative-powered aircraft and to develop a wide applicability of the aircraft, including rescue and ambulance profiles.

The cooperation will open up many skilled jobs by 2020. Innovative, export-able industries will be able to settle and strengthen in Pécs and Hungary, which will bring new employment to the region and further improve Hungary's competitiveness through the re-industrialization of the Southern Transdanubian region.

Magnus Aircraft Zrt. will produce not only the latest Fusion 213 training aircraft to be licensed by the European Aviation Authority, but also other composite tools and components for the international aerospace industry. In addition, the company develops and manufactures competitive sports equipment, in association with industry experts, which is introduced to renowned, professionally recognized Hungarian athletes at the forefront of the world.
