The certificate was officially presented by Lajos Kemecsei, Head of Department at the Hungarian Aviation Authority, to László Boros, CEO of Magnus Aircraft Zrt.
The certification is particularly significant as, following the relevant changes to the applicable regulations, the Fusion 212 is the first aircraft designed and manufactured in Hungary to obtain this official Hungarian Type Certificate in the 600 kg category. The certification provides important confirmation of the Fusion 212’s compliance, safety and technical capabilities, while further demonstrating Magnus Aircraft’s expertise in aircraft development and manufacturing. It also creates new opportunities for the operation and further adoption of the aircraft in Hungary.
“This certificate is not only an important regulatory milestone for Magnus Aircraft, but also a recognition of the development and manufacturing expertise behind the Fusion 212. It is particularly important for us that the aircraft can now have an even stronger presence in the Hungarian aviation community and operate under Hungarian registration,” said László Boros, CEO of Magnus Aircraft Zrt.
Magnus Aircraft would like to thank the Hungarian Aviation Authority for its professional cooperation and support throughout the certification process.
The company remains committed to developing and manufacturing aircraft capable of meeting the expectations of both the international aviation market and the Hungarian aviation community.
